I’m Jade Smart, M.S.Ed. The Smart Approach is an answer to a calling I’ve felt for a long time to fully embrace the work I’ve loved and excelled at for years.

I come from a family of educators. My belief in the importance of education was instilled at an early age and solidified during my time in undergrad at the University of Pennsylvania. I loved my college experience so much that I wanted to help future students take advantage of similar opportunities. For years, I’ve reviewed everything from high school summer programs to undergrad and grad school applications for students in my network.

I earned my Master’s of Higher Education from Penn Graduate School of Education, and worked at the Wharton School for several years. I spent years reading hundreds of applications for Yale Undergraduate Admissions as an external application reader. I have also volunteered as a Penn Alumni Interviewer.

All this to say: I am deeply familiar with the high level of performance and rigor required to be a competitive applicant to the most selective colleges and universities. I specialize in helping you best position yourself to get into the Top 50 U.S. Schools. And honestly, whether you’re aiming for Top 50 or not, many students could use a bit of extra college admission support.
